Aeration

Have you ever tried to fork the whole lawn to let water in to it, you get a quater of the way and give up this is because the lawn is too compact, your lawn could do with been aerated.

Aeration comes i two forms:-

• solid tine aeration, where a solid spike is used to bore thousands of holes in the lawn

• hollow tine aeration, a hollow spike is used to actually remove thousands of cores from the lawn.

We Make the assessment weather hollow or solid tining is needed, but in most cases we use hollow tining as it is more commonly praticed due to the many advantages of this process.

It helps the lawn by allowing nutrients water and air in to the root source and also reducing sub surface thatch and compaction.
